After a little break for Christmas holidays ;), I publish the promised description of “the heart”.
Of course, it turned out to be a little longer than a few days, but still better than never! ) Besides, these hearts may be of use not only on a Christmas, but also on St. Valentine’s day, etc. !
So, here’s the pattern for crocheting and decorating the heart, and some photos to explain details.
Heart with Bow Pattern
Materials: yarn KARTOPU FLORA (100% acrylic, 100 grams, 230 m) in straw color, 2.1 mm crotchet hook, polyester fiberfill stuffing, satin ribbon, button, sewing thread.
First, crochet 2 hemispheres using this pattern:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6 st)
Rnd 2: inc in each st around (12 st)
Rnd 3-5: 12 sc
With second part do not cut the thread and use it to crochet the common row for both hemispheres as on photo.
Joint row came out to be 21 sc, one junction stitch for each hemisphere is free. Free junction stitches will leave a small hole. You can sew it with a thread remaining from the first hemisphere.
Then crochet rows common to both hemispheres, making 1 dec at the junction of each side. So in each row you get 2 dec. And so we continue until we reach the tip of the heart. In total I got 15 rows in height, counting from the top of hemisphere to the tip of heart.
If you want to make a bigger heart, you need to increase the radius of the hemisphere. In order to make a heart shorter in length, you need to make more decreases in each row. So, you can unleash imagination and create your heart with any parameters …
Before the end of crocheting, we stuff the heart with filler and distribute it well.
Now only decoration is left. At top, crochet a long chain, so that the toy could be hanged somewhere. Then make a ribbon bow and sew it together with a button, using normal sewing threads.
So now we have some pretty decoration!
